How Do I Register My Yard Sale?
You can sign up at the Information Center at 227 South Main Street, or you can print the registration form and mail it to 14 Borsini Lane, Yerington, NV 89447. For questions, call 463-3699.
Can I Rent A Booth?
Absolutely. Same process as above = fee is $10.
The booths will be in the 300 block on North Main Street. There will be no electricity available. You must provide your own tables, etc. All tents must be fastened down.
What Do I Get for My Money?
100% of the cost of your registration goes to advertising the event in Northern Nevada. All registered yard sale, bazaars or booths will be listed on this web site along with address, hours, and summary of what you will be selling. There will be paper copies of the lists available at multiple locations the week of the event.
What Are The Placards?
All registered yard sales and bazaars get a placard that should be prominently displayed so they can easily be seen from the street. Shoppers are strongly urged avoid sales without placards – freeloaders. By not paying the registration fee, there is less advertising, so the freeloaders hurt everybody. Please do not reward this behavior.
What Else Is Happening That Day?
The annual Arts and Blues at the Center/A Taste of the Valley is being held the same week end at the Jeanne Dini Center, 120 North California, Yerington, NV. Live blues bands will provide outdoor concerts, and there are food and artist bazaars. The food and drink booths feature products produced locally, and the artist bazaar is filled with locally produced art work and crafts. This year there are classic car and motorcycle shows on Saturday starting at 8AM. For more information on this event, please check www.yeringtonarts.com
